Regional Financial Analysis of Papua Province in 2022

Abstract

This research is the descriptive research on “Regional Financial Analysis of Papua Province in 2020†which aims to meet the needs of data consumers for local government financial statistics, both the Papua provincial government and the regency/city government throughout Papua province. This study presents data on the realization and budget of the Papua provincial government and district/city government in 2022. The method used in this study uses a descriptive method, where data are obtained from the list of APBD-1 and K-1 obtained from the finance bureau of the regional secretary of Papua province, from the finance section of the regional secretariat. The financial and asset management agency of districts/cities throughout Papua province and the results of the enumeration are recorded using the APBD-2 list and K-2 list. The completed questionnaire is sent to BPS-RI through BPS Province for processing. The result of this study is to determine the presentation of the source of revenue of the government in Papua province in 2022 where the largest component is the balancing fund of 88.3% and the allocation of local government expenditures in Papua province in 2022. The largest component is direct spending at 81.5%. And the regions or districts/cities with the largest income level are Mimika regency while the regions or districts/cities with the lowest income level are Waropen, Dogiay, Deyai, Mamberamo Tenggah and Keerom regencies. While the region or regency with the largest level of spending is Mimika regency while the lowest regional expenditure is Keerom regency and Central Mamberamo.
